HOW DOES IT WORK?

At wavelengths of 633 (Red Light), 532 (Green Light) and 415 (Blue Light) nanometres these lights can reach the deepest layers of the skin, the dermis layers.
When the light reaches the dermis layer, it gives the cells a boost that stimulates a response from the body to use the light, therefore giving a boost to the rejuvenation process through increased blood flow, collagen stimulation, detoxification processes and much more.
NOT ANY LIGHT WILL DO! – Clinically proven LED phototherapy is proven to have more and more viable applications in many fields of medicine. However, not any old LED will do. If you want it to be effective, it must follow the below criteria:
The wavelength must be able to reach for the target cells or chromophores. Published data strongly suggests 830 nm for all aspects of wound healing, pain, anti-inflammatory treatment, and skin rejuvenation, with a combination of 415 nm and 633 nm for light-only treatment of active inflammatory acne vulgaris. If the wavelength is incorrect, optimum absorption will not occur.
Secondly, the photon intensity, i.e. spectral irradiance or power density (W/cm2), must be adequate, or once again absorption of the photons will not be sufficient to achieve the desired result. If the intensity is too high, however, the photon energy will be transformed to excessive heat in the target tissue, and that is undesirable.
